Logan Canyon features lots of different walks and picnic spots. The following activities are all situated in Logan Canyon. Dam or Canyon Entryway Park is a spot right at the mouth of the canyon.

This is another great location for fishing. We enjoy the picturesque views of the mountains and river at 2nd Dam. Wind Cave is a beautiful hike, but it is much longer and an uphill climb, so it may not be a great choice for little kids. The cave, which is even more of an open archway, is spectacular though, and a nice pleasant spot to rest after the hike.
We love this nice rest stop in Logan Canyon. Rick's Springtime is a quick stop along the canyon road.
Additional Information About the Logan Location
One is under the springtime and you have to scuba dive to see it, but the various other is a short little cave to the left of the springtime. One of our preferred places to visit in Logan is Tony Grove.
The lake is about 7 miles away from the primary canyon road, but worth the trip. The wildflowers in the middle of July are breathtaking. Limber Pine Trail is an easy trail to this enormous tree. It is actually concerning 7 trees that grew together, but still remarkable. The trail is scenic and even has a Bear Lake overlook.
One of the reasons we travel this route so often is to visit Bear Lake. If you make it to Limber Pine Path, you are just a few minutes from brilliant blue Bear Lake.
Make sure to visit Logan National Scenic Byway, particularly when autumn colors are on screen. At the highway summit, you can view an spectacular view of turquoise Bear Lake.

The Exhibit is located near The Shops at South Town but isn't inside the shopping center. It rests beside the shopping center in the same commercial area as Target and Influence Ninja Health Club. From Salt Lake City: Take I-15 South and exit at 10600 South (Exit 293) in Sandy. Make a left onto 10600 South, then left one more time onto State Street.
Departing from Provo: Use I-15 North heading toward Salt Lake City and get off at 10600 South (Exit 293). Turn right onto the retail complex ring road and you'll find it on your right.
